M.Ed. (Two-Year Course)
Total Seats: 50 | Annual Fee: ₹44,000 + University charges
Admission to the M.Ed. course is done by Kurukshetra University on the basis of an entrance test and marks obtained in B.Ed. Prerequisites for students allotted to this college by the university are as follows: documents/certificates for eligibility, weightages, reservation and other concessions.
Instructions for Candidates
- Please read the prospectus carefully before filling in the admission form.
- Admission forms of candidates seeking M.Ed. admission on the basis of a qualifying examination passed from a university other than Kurukshetra University will be considered only if that examination is duly recognised by Kurukshetra University.
- Applications must be submitted to the office of the Principal, complete with attested copies of all requisite documents, including: certificates showing marks obtained and maximum marks in all examinations; a character certificate from the head of the institution last attended; a no-objection certificate from the employer, in the case of a working/employed candidate; a matriculation or equivalent certificate in support of date of birth; and the prescribed certificate for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes / socially Backward Classes / OBC.
- No candidate may join any other course of study, or appear in any other examination conducted by a university or public body, while studying in B.Ed./M.Ed.
- No one already in employment (whole-time, part-time or honorary) may join or continue the B.Ed./M.Ed. course without taking leave from their institution/office for the full duration of the academic session, including project work, field work, practical examinations and dissertation.
- Candidates must mention complete permanent and correspondence addresses with PIN code, and a phone/cell number with STD code, on the admission form.
- Original documents, along with two passport-size photographs, must be produced at the time of counselling, and again in the college office for verification before fees are deposited; original certificates must be deposited as required by the Registration Branch of Kurukshetra University.
- Admission will be refused if any submitted document is found to be false. Candidates must furnish an affidavit stating that if any submitted document is found fake, forged or incorrect, they will be held fully responsible and that the University/College may take action against them. Admission will be cancelled if a candidate is later found ineligible for any reason, including non-recognition of their qualifying examination by Kurukshetra University.
- Admissions made as per the prospectus procedure remain provisional until regularised by the Registration Branch of Kurukshetra University after checking eligibility.
